Just Spotted!!! Google Ads Is Offering $1,000 Ad Credit To Select New Advertisers
Google Ads is offering an ad credit of $1,000 to select new advertisers who are creating new Google Ads accounts. This $1,000 offer is the highest ad credit I have seen offered out by Google in my ten years in the game.
The offer however does come with stipulations, requirements and some new odd and questionable details. Will it pan out? or will advertisers be lured in by the offer but not get it because of a technicality? Only time will tell!
We recently saw this offer when creating a new Google Ads account for a client. The offer is for a $1,000 Google ads credit after you spend $1,000 in Google ads within the first 60 days after setting up the account. This offer is only available if you see the blue banner at the top of the page when creating a new Google ads account.
The Odd
Generally when Google Ads offers an advertiser an Ad credit, it will come with certain requirements. The requirements are generally ad spend limits and then you get a code that you can enter into the promotions tab in the billing section of Google ads. The odd thing about this offer is that there is NO CODE! Apparently this is a uncoded offer by Google ads and it is the first I have ever seen this in terms of promotions.
After digging around a little I was able to find some chats about this offer on Google ads messaging boards. There are other advertisers who have not been able to get this verified and so have spend the required $1,000 but did not receive the $1,000 ad credit. After going back and forth with different Google Ads “representatives” I was told that as long I spent the $1,000 in the first 60 days that the offer would be automatically implemented on the account. I have the live chats saved just in case they do not apply the ad credit. I will update this post after we meet the requirements for our client and hopefully get this offer verified.
